IOWA CITY — Iowa wide receiver Seth Anderson and running back Leshon Williams have returned to practice after missing time with injuries, head coach Kirk Ferentz said Tuesday in his weekly news conference.
“They both came back a the end of last week, I guess Friday,” Ferentz said. “I think they’re both on the field full speed. … We’re probably about as healthy as I can remember ever. We had a record-short medical meeting.”
Anderson has not yet played this season. Williams missed the Sept. 21 game at Minnesota and played in a limited capacity in Iowa’s first three games.
Williams ranked sixth in the Big Ten in 2023 with 821 rushing yards and was an all-Big Ten honorable mention. Anderson, a former Charleston Southern transfer, had 11 receptions for 150 yards in his first season as a Hawkeye in 2023.
