Frank Anthony Ray, 58, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Thursday, September 26, at Mercy Hospital. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Brosh Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow.
Frank was born on October 8, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Frank Lewinfield and Cecilia Sern’a (Gonzales) Ray. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, watching the Raiders, working on his home and Jeep, cooking, and most of all spending time with his friends and family. Frank and Annette were proud caretakers of Lawrence “Dad” for many years. He was a fun, loving, giving man and will be deeply missed.
Frank is survived by his fiancé Annette Sue Rashed; his children Corbin, Courtney, Whitney, Nicholas, Chance, Frankie, Camille and Makyah; his many grandchildren; his siblings Sylvia, Frank Jr., Kathy, Ursula, Diane, Bridget, Yvette, Kristy and Quinton; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
