Woon Lyloc (Lee) was born on October 10, 1933, in Hong Kong. His father was Charles Lyloc and his mother Sylvia Yu Sau Wah.
Lee grew up in Hong Kong and attended St. Stephen’s Boys College. After that, he went to Great Britain and obtained his aeronautical engineering degree.
Lee immigrated to Montreal, Canada in the late seventies to work for Canadair. He later came to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and worked for Rockwell International for many years before retiring. He has been retired for a number of years now.
Lee’s wife is Maria Lyloc. They were married in Spain on May 11 of 1968. Together, they had one son Don, who died at the age of 18.
Lee is survived by his wife Maria; his sister Sylvia Lyloc of Toronto, Canada; brother Ching and wife Anna Lyloc of Vancouver; his nephews Jay and Kevin Lo; and his niece June Lyloc.
Woon was an active sportsman who loved playing tennis, downhill and cross-country skiing, ping pong and more. He was a true lover of nature.
