Iowa football vs. Ohio State 2024 kickoff time, TV set

IOWA CITY — Iowa football’s Oct. 5 game at Ohio State will start at 2:30 Central time, the team announced Monday.

CBS will broadcast the game. It will be the third time Iowa has been on a major broadcast network this season following CBS’ broadcast of the Cy-Hawk game and NBC’s broadcast of the Floyd of Rosedale game.

It will be Iowa’s first game after this week’s early bye. Iowa will be a clear underdog in the game. ESPN Analytics gives Ohio State an 88.1 percent chance of winning.

Iowa has a 2-9 record against Ohio State in the Kirk Ferentz era. The Hawkeyes have not won in Columbus since 1991. Most recently, Iowa suffered a 54-10 loss at Ohio State in 2022.
