Marion Oktoberfest returns for third year

MARION — Oktoberfest returns for its third year in Uptown Marion on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024.

This year’s festival will feature a wide variety of samples from 30 breweries in Iowa and surrounding areas. Attendees can enjoy beer, learn about craft brews from representatives at each brand, listen to live music by Lyle Beaver and the Brass Notes, and play traditional German games like hammerschlagen and stein holding.

Admission starts at $40 and include access to breweries starting at noon. A VIP ticket is available for $60 and includes one hour of early access and a VIP glass. Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.com.

Advance ticket sales end at 5 p.m. on Sept. 20, 2024. General admission tickets at the door will be available, while supplies last, for $50.

Proceeds benefit the Iowa Brewer’s Guild as well as Marion’s Winter Lights program, which funds the city’s community beautification during the holiday season.
