Biden, Harris aren’t to blame for high price of groceries

For several years following the 2008 recession, well into the Obama administration, Democrats continued to blame Bush for the subsequent dips in the economy. The standing joke was the 2011 earthquake that hit Washington D.C. was Bush’s “fault.” Equally absurd are the current claims by Republicans that the Biden-Harris administration is solely responsible for high food prices. Are they responsible for the continuing drought in cattle producing areas that has caused ranchers to reduce the size of their herds therefore reducing the supply of beef?
Drought has also contributed to dairy farmers reducing their herds contributing to the increased butter prices. Are Biden and Harris to blame for recurring bird flu epidemics that have raised egg prices? Are they also to blame for severe weather events in coffee producing countries that have dramatically increased the price of our favorite morning beverage?
In summary, the common thread most often associated with decreased supply (and increased prices) of these, and other, food items, is climate change which the current administration has made an effort to combat.
