Cedar Rapids man charged in sexual abuse of two children

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Cedar Rapids man is accused in the sexual abuse of two children.
Delbert Dean Grimm, 80, faces two counts of second-degree sexual abuse.
According to a criminal complaint, a 5-year-old child and a 6-year-old child told family members and forensic interviewers at St. Luke’s Child Protection Center that Grimm had touched them inappropriately on separate occasions.
One incident happened in January, the other in June.
A no-contact order has been filed on behalf of both children. Grimm is being held in the Linn County Jail on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
