Customers won’t be able to pay Iowa City water bills online this weekend
Temporary outage due to city’s payment software upgrade

IOWA CITY — An update to the city’s payment software will keep customers from paying their Iowa City water bills online or over the phone this weekend.
The payment outage is expected from 8 p.m. Friday to Monday morning, the city announced Tuesday.
The city’s job postings and online applications also will be unavailable from 4:30 p.m. Friday through Monday morning during the software update.
