He was born on February 26,1962, in Mount Vernon, Iowa, to Donald and Jeannette Blessing.
Don is survived by his wife, Wendy; his father, Donald, of Marion, Iowa; his children, Katie (Mike) Lee, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and John Blessing, of Oelwein, Iowa; grandchildren, Amelia and Elena Lee, his sisters; Karen (Kim) Dirks, of Sioux City, IA and Debbie Blessing, of Mt Vernon, Iowa, and a stepdaughter, Emily Edwards and children Emma and Evan Carson, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
