Gregory John Davidson Jr., aged 57, passed away on August 9, 2024, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Born on July 26, 1967, in Iowa City, Iowa, Gregory was known for his love of playing guitar and his exceptional spaghetti-making skills.
Gregory is survived by his mother, Diana Michalec; children, Cella Willich (Zach), Clarissa Davidson, Gregory Davidson III (Bree), Chelsee Davidson, Breanna Culver (Jonathon), Emilio Tamayo, and Miguel Davidson; 14 grandchildren; four brothers; three sisters; and spouse Dorothy.
Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Gregory "Poet" Davidson Sr, his step-mother, Janet Davidson, his grandparents, and his grandson, Isaac Harris.
A Celebration of Life for Gregory will be held on August 24, 2-7 pm, at 415 12th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids.
