Sherry Lynn Kuehl, 73, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, July 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (David) Watson, a son, Travis Kuehl, grandchildren, Evie Staebler, Maddeux and Estelle Kuehl, Michelle Watson; and two great-grandchildren; siblings, Nancy (Dan) Gabel, Susan Wennerberg, Mark (Robin) Kissinger, Daniel (Lois) Kissinger, Lexanne (Terry) Vass; and extended loving nieces, nephews, and family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Andrew, and a brother, Tom Kissinger.
Sherry was born October 28, 1950, in Warsaw, Illinois, the daughter of Earl and Mary (Lehr) Kissinger. She was united in marriage to Andrew Kuehl on August 14, 1969, in Marion, Iowa. Sherry worked in the banking industry for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, genealogy, and spending time with her grandkids.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be directed to the University of Iowa Cancer Center.
