Wieskamp spent 3 years in NBA and NBA G League after leaving Iowa in 2021

Former Iowa basketball player Joe Wieskamp will play in Australia next season.
Wieskamp is joining the South East Melbourne Phoenix of Australia’s National Basketball League after three years of American pro basketball.
He was a second-round draft choice of the San Antonio Spurs in 2021. He played in nine games for the Spurs as a rookie, and in 29 with the Toronto Raptors the following season. He played in a total of 63 NBA G League games for five different teams.
Wieskamp, from Muscatine, played at Iowa from 2018-2021. He scored 1,283 points over three seasons.
