Indian restaurant expands with second location in North Liberty

NORTH LIBERTY — A Hiawatha Indian restaurant has expanded with a second location in North Liberty.
Paradise Indian Grill opened its second location in May at 555 S. Highway 965 in North Liberty. Its other location at 1950 Blairs Ferry Rd. in Hiawatha remains open.
The space was previously Adelitas Mexican Restaurant. It’s unclear when Adelitas closed.
The North Liberty site is the first expansion for Paradise, which initially opened in Cedar Rapids in 2019 before moving to Hiawatha in 2021. Unlike other Corridor options with menus based on northern Indian cuisine, the Paradise menu focuses on the southern part of India, specifically Hyderabad.
