Lisa Crane, 62, of Columbia, MO passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 in Columbia. Friends may gather from 1-2 pm, Thursday, July 11, at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70, West Columbia. Funeral Service will begin at 2 pm, followed by burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lisa was born February 5, 1962 in Cedar Rapids, to Marvin and Sylvia Prachar. In 1980, she graduated from Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids and moved to Columbia. Here she attended Cosmetology school and worked as a hairdresser. She also attended Columbia College. On September 2, 1984, she married Rexford Crane in Cedar Rapids. She ran an in-home daycare while her children were growing, and once they all were in school, she turned to a full-time homemaker. She was a loving and dedicated mother who loved spending time with her children and taking them to soccer and wrestling. She also enjoyed growing and caring for her roses.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rex Crane of Columbia; children, Taylor (Alyssa) Crane of Platte City, Katherine (Garrette) Daugherty of Columbia, and Samuel Crane of Columbia; grandchildren, Maverick & Cannon Crane and Ezekiel & Mollie Daugherty; siblings, Martin Prachar of Omaha, NE, Vicky (Scott) Mussman of Moravia, IA, Janelle (Fernando) Ciccarelli of New Rochelle, NY, John Rohlena of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Charlie Rohlena of Cedar Rapids, Paul (Travis) Prachar of Venice, FL, and Rae (Jason) Schutner of Cedar Rapids; her father, Marvin (Sharon) Prachar, many nieces and nephews and a loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Rohlena and her husband, Robert.
