Susan Marie (Wenger) Vosdingh, 83, of Coggon, Iowa fell asleep to the embrace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, on Friday, July 05, 2024. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial at Blodgett Cemetery in Central City, Iowa.

Susan was born on February 2, 1941, in Marion, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Marie (Forrest) Wenger. She graduated from Central City High School. Susan dearly loved her family and friends. She enjoyed tending to her flowerbeds and volunteering at the Faith Mission Thrift Store in Coggon, Iowa. Susan will be remembered for her heavenly gift of encouragement. A genuine ambassador of virtues of forgiveness, mercy, and grace.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Michael) Halstead-Kvach; a brother, Russell (Mary Ann) Wenger; four grandchildren, Jade (John) Sokoll, Brooke Kvach, Dallas Kvach, and Austin Vosdingh; and four great-grandchildren, Aza, Jaks, Zhel, and Olivia.
Susan was preceded in eternal rest by her parents, a brother Charles Wenger, and spouses, Gary D. Halstead and William T. Vosdingh.
“I shall be sheltered under the shadow of your wings, and I shall sleep, for you alone, O Lord, have made me dwell in hope.”
