Jackson "Jack" Chase Walter, 2 months old, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, passed away peacefully in the arms of his mom and dad the morning of June 26th, 2024, in the NICU at the University of Iowa Hospital.
Following his parents’ wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Service and visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, at Murdoch Funeral Home, 622 Main Street, Center Point, Iowa, 52213.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to Jackson's name to his family or to his Go Fund Me.
Jackson Chase Walter was born on April 26th, 2024, in Iowa City, Iowa. The son of Nathan Walter and Chelsea Morrow of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Though Jackson's life was cut short, he impacted many lives. Jackson had many odds against him from the very beginning, but he fought as hard as he could until his little body was just too tired. Jackson touched all who knew him and even those who didn't get the chance.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Nathan and Chelsea Walter; one brother, Connor Cain; Aunt Samantha and Uncle Jordan Bierman; cousin, Colt Bierman; grandparents, Kathy Morrow, Kim Wegener, Jean Ann and Dave Walter; and great-grandparents, Verlene and Donnie Hawker, and Donna and Doug Mathison.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Chase Cain; grandpa, Steve Morrow; great-grandparents, Ernie and Dorothy Freyberger, Robert and Lucille Walter, Michael Montgomery, and David Frazier.
