Jacqueline Lynn Evans, 67, of Marion, IA passed away on Sunday June 30, 2024 in St. Lukes Hospital. Private family services will be held in South Dakota.
Survivors include her son, Jason Evans, her granddaughters, Nikkia, MaKayla, and Ashley. Great grandchildren Oliver and Wren. Her sisters, Kathi Benhart and Cheryl Reed.
She was preceded in death by parents and sister Donna Svarstad.
Jacqueline was born on December 3, 1956, in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Everett and Beverly Evans. She graduated high school in 1975 in Aberdeen, SD. Later, she received her degree as a Registered Nurse from Presentation College.
Jacqueline was large part of her nieces and nephews lives, always being there for her family. She was an avid reader of mystery novels and loved to do crafts and word puzzles. Jackie’s faith was unwavering, she looked forward to Bible studies and retreats.
