Evelyn Catherine Wilkinson, of Lisbon, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon. Private family services will be held. Burial: Campbell Cemetery, Bertram, Iowa.
Evelyn was born on April 2, 1933, in Mount Vernon, Iowa, the daughter of James J. and Ruby (Anderson) Klein. She was united in marriage to Donald Wilkinson on February 1, 1950, in Independence, Iowa.
Evelyn was a longtime member of Cedar Christian Church. She loved quilting and sewing. Evelyn made prayer quilts and dresses for Africa. She was a skilled cake decorator, enjoyed spending time with family and cooking great family dinners.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Ronald (Sheila) Wilkinson, Sheryl (Peter) Wilkinson, and Donna (Jeff) Walters; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert Klein.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Oliver Klein, James Klein Jr., and William Klein; and loved dog, Ruby Mae.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Evelyn’s name to the K-9 Unit, Linn County Sheriff’s Office or Willis Dady Homeless Services.
