Congratulations to Gordon and Joyce Emmons on reaching another milestone in their beautiful journey together. They celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2024. Longtime residents of Hiawatha, (Emmons Street) and Cedar Rapids, they now reside at Terrace Glen in Marion, Iowa. During their retirement they have been avid gardeners leaving a legacy of beautiful hostas and other plants from their garden on Hertz Drive with many residents of the area. They are an inspiration and remain active with their 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
