Linda Sue VonStein,78, of Solon, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Iowa City Rehab and Health Care Center. Brosh Chapel and the Avacentre in Solon is serving the family. Private family services were held and burial took place at Oakland Cemetery in Solon
Linda was born on September 17, 1945 in Iowa City, the daughter of Clair J. and Alma M. Brown. She graduated Solon High School in 1963. On April 26, 1969, she was united in marriage to Gerald Guy VonStein. She worked for J. Bradley Rust from December 1963 - April 1969, where she worked on the KXIC/KKRQ studio. She also worked for ACT for 21 years. She was a devoted wife and mother of 2 children. She loved to go on cruises when she was able to.
Survivors include her son Mark, daughter Sharon; sister Evelyn; brother-in-law Phillip; sister-in-law Nina; and several nieces and nephews.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of nearly 54 years, Gerald VonStein.
