Cyril Michael Burns, 41, of Marion, died Sunday June 16, 2024, at the Dennis & Donna Hospice House of Mercy surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Cyril Burns lived a life of magical realism. He was an artist, a musician, and a storyteller. His outsized vantage point was charismatic and extraordinary to all who knew or met him. Cy jammed the experience of many lifetimes into a life cut too short.
He is survived by his significant other Jennifer, his sons Bailey, Alex, and Anthony, his brother and sister-in-law Ben and Cora, his father Bill and many other family and friends who all dearly loved him and cherished their time with him.
