By welcoming Trump, Grassley and Ernst model new standards for Iowa civics

Sens. Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst are promoting a new curriculum for all government and civics teachers in Iowa. By giving former president Donald Trump a warm welcome back to Washington, D.C. on Thursday, they are modeling new standards to be taught in all of our Iowa public and private schools. Infidelity and name calling are traits to be admired. Falsifying business records to avoid taxes and accumulate wealth is the American way, and don't forget filing for bankruptcy. If found guilty the justice system is corrupt and so are all the jurors. Finally, democracy will only survive if you accept elections if you win, say elections are rigged when you lose, and lead an insurrection to right the wrong.
