Arrangements with
Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services.
Deb is survived by her husband, Steven; father, Ronald (Kathy) Dieleman; daughters, Jennifer (Duke) DeJong and Niccole Thomas; grandchildren, Samuel, Mikale, Noah, Isabel and Wrenley; siblings, Jeffery (Deb) Dieleman, and Cathy (Mark) Law; and beloved puppy, Holly.
Born to Ronald and Carolyn Dieleman in Oskaloosa, Deb enjoyed her early years on the farm. Even in elementary school, she was doted on by Steve Boyd, and on Nov. 8, 1980, they were married. After caring for her daughters and sending Steve through school, she earned her RN-BSN degree in nursing.
Deb was a caregiver. She cared for her husband, her children, her patients and, most recently, for her grandchildren. They loved playing games with her and just being her best friends. She also cared for her church, volunteering in many ways at Stonebridge Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Stonebridge Church Capital Fund, or American Cancer Society.
Please share your support and memories with Deb's family on her tribute wall at www.stewartbaxter.com under obituaries.
