If Ernst won’t fulfill oath, Iowans should oust her

Iowa’s junior Sen. Joni Ernst once swore to “well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”
Just a few days ago, however, Ernst vowed to oppose any bipartisan legislation and President Biden’s judicial appointments, even if such legislation and appointments benefit her country and her Iowa constituency.
Clearly, the senator has renounced her oath to the “duties of the office,” so that she can give her full attention to serving ex-President Trump, where her true loyalty lies.
I think we can assume that Ernst will soon tender her resignation from the Senate.
If not — we should fire her.
