Robert C. Stolte, 67, passed away at his home on Aug. 9, 2018. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden with the Rev. Daniel Redhage officiating. Burial will follow at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Robert was born Oct. 28, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Wilbert and Allison (Rix) Stolte.
Survivors include brothers, Steve (Bonnie) of Robins and Jeff of Daytona Beach, Fla.; niece, Sarah Hennings and children, Shelby and Jeremiah; and nephew, Marc (Meredith) Stolte and children, Adriana and Nathan.
Robert received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts in 1973 and afterward studied as a physician's assistant for a while and sold Yellow Pages ads. He was an insurance salesman through the rest of his working life.
