Nickie Junior Peterman peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the age of 80, at Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, IA. He was born on July 25, 1943, in Mendota, IL, raised in Arlington, IA. Nickie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Di Ann (Bennington) Peterman, his children - Rita (Bill) Mahan, Ernie (Tracy), Nick (Polly), Chris, and Sue (Marty) Francksen; and 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Rita Dillon, and several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held. A celebration of life for Nickie will be held on Friday, June 14 at Thomas Park Safe Room, Marion from 5-8 pm.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Oldorf Hospice House.
