On primary day, June 4, I encourage you to cast your vote for Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks to continue representing Iowa in the 1st District. Mariannette works tirelessly to represent her constituents, dissecting every vote to ensure the fine points are exactly what it purports to represent. Many times, a bill is introduced with talking points to attract support but in the end has many hidden parts that completely change the initial intent of the bill. I know without a doubt that Mariannette will always represent our district with integrity and honesty, with a straightforward candid voice. You may not agree with 100% of her votes, nor should you. If you ever have a question about how she voted, just talk with her.
For those that say we should shut down the government to protect our southern border, remember that once the government is shut down there must be a vote to open it. With a one-seat majority just imagine the concessions that will be forced upon us. The House Republicans did pass a border bill, H.R.2. It sits hidden in Sen. Schumer’s desk.
Mariannette has been endorsed by Gov. Kim Reynolds, AG Brenna Bird, and her fellow Congresswoman Ashley Hinson. Such outstanding endorsements from our great state! They know how hard she works firsthand! She doesn’t need to misrepresent an endorsement, she earns it on her own! Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks has my full support. I ask that you vote for her on June 4!
