Max Mauck passed away 5/29/24 at the age of eighty-six. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service planned at this time.
Max was born May 15, 1938, in Liscomb, IA. Attended school in the Marshalltown area before moving to Cedar Rapids. He attended Wilson High School where he met the love of his life Carol Benn. They were married Sept. 21, 1958. After sixty-five years of devoted marriage, they have two sons, Denny and wife Joanne of Swisher, Dan and wife Anna of Indiana and daughter Debbie of Cedar Rapids, two grandchildren Dustin/wife Natalie of Fairfax and Tori of Swisher, two great grandchildren, sister Melba of Missouri. Max owned and operated Hawkeye Marine along with his two sons before his retirement. He was an active member of Asbury Methodist, a caring and devoted family man who loved his boxer dogs over the years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Asbury Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
A private service will be held at a later date.
