Jena Costello passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 16, 2024. Jena was a vibrant soul and a true free spirit. She loved music, cooking, the Green Bay Packers, and most importantly anything that involved having a good time with her son. Many nights were spent enjoying karaoke or “doctoring” up a meal. We thank Jena for her service in the U.S. Army.
While we grieve the loss of Jena, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she find eternal peace and continue to shine bright in the memories we hold dear.
Jena was preceded in death by her infant son Stevie Ray, father, Jack, and two brothers, Jim and Joe. She is survived by son Vaughn (Kylie) Costello, grandson Owen, mother Loretta Costello, brother John (Susan) Costello, sister Jan (Loren) Siebels, and sister in-law Theresa Hankins, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jena’s life is scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd from 2-4pm at the Lawrence Community Center in Anamosa, IA.
Special thanks to the Saint Croix Hospice team for the incredible care they provided and all who contributed in any way during Jena’s breast cancer journey.
