Sheryl A. Marsden, 68, of Solon, Iowa, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 16, 2024, and was welcomed by her son, Curtis Lee Marsden, in a better place.
Sheryl was born December 15, 1956, in Ceda Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Barbara (Williams) Hunt. She graduated from Prairie High School and worked for Sheller Globe in Iowa City, Iowa for 33 years before retiring. On September 28, 1977, Sheryl was united in marriage to Randy Lee Marsden.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Marsden; son, Chad W. Marsden; and sisters, Steph, and Shelly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd, and Barbara; son, Curtis; and sister, Sheila.
Sheryl’s family will host a Celebration of Life from 12 – 5 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the Shueyville Community Center, 2863 120th St. NE, Shueyville, Iowa 52338. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
