Would Dorman keep 1st Avenue HyVee open if it were his store?

No one in these parts would ever accuse Gazette columnist Todd Dorman of turning soft (or even conservative) by any stretch, but his column in Sunday’s Gazette concerning the imminent closure of the Hy-Vee store on First Ave. NE was a bit much.
C’mon, Todd … if you had access to that store’s profit and loss statement; Balance sheet; Loss by theft reports, etc. covering the past 10 years; and/or if the name of that particular store was Todd-Vee or Hy-Dorman, would you have kept it open for this long?
