Mary Jo Weber, 80, of Hazleton, Iowa, passed away Friday afternoon, April 26, 2024, at her home.
Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein.

Mary Josephine Stocks was born in Geneseo, Illinois on July 22, 1943, as the only child of Donald Alan and Winifred “Winnie” (Hannon) Stocks. She later attended Nursing School at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Mary Jo also spent many years as a School Nurse with the Independence School District. While working as a nurse in Chicago, she met and married Dr. John Weber. They were married on June 18, 1966, and enjoyed over 57 years of marriage.
Mary Jo and John raised three children - Megan (Louie) Brough of Park Ridge, Illinois, Chris (Kathryn) Weber of Chicago, Illinois and Matt Weber of Rosemount, Minnesota.
She truly enjoyed spending time with her seven grandkids - Maggie and Sarah Brough, Mary Claire, Colin and Joe Weber and Michaela and Aly Weber.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She will be missed by all.
