IOWA CITY — The 2024 NFL Draft has concluded, but the door has not closed on Iowa and Iowa State athletes hoping to fulfill their NFL dreams.
Undrafted free agents from the state of Iowa in past years to find success in the NFL include former Hawkeye safeties Jake Gervase and Kaevon Merriweather and former Cyclone wide receiver Allen Lazard.
Here is a running list of Iowa, Iowa State and Northern Iowa prospects who have signed with teams as undrafted free agents following the 2024 draft:
Iowa undrafted free agents
- Iowa defensive lineman Noah Shannon has agreed to a contract with the Las Vegas Raiders.
- Iowa tight end Steven Stilianos has agreed to a contract with the Tennessee Titans.
- Iowa defensive end Joe Evans has signed a deal with the Baltimore Ravens. He will play outside linebacker there, according to The Athletic.
- Iowa offensive lineman Rusty Feth has been invited to the Bengals’ rookie minicamp, a source confirmed to The Gazette.
Iowa State undrafted free agents
- Iowa State safety Ben Nikkel has signed with the Washington Commanders.
- Iowa State tight end Easton Dean received a minicamp invitation from the Tennessee Titans.
UNI undrafted free agents
- UNI defensive back Woo Governor has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.
- UNI wide receiver Sam Schnee has signed with the Tennessee Titans.
Other notable undrafted free agents
- Northern Illinois (and former Michigan State) quarterback Rocky Lombardi, who lived in Cedar Rapids for part of his childhood, has signed with the Cincinnati Bengals.
