Marengo
Louis Knapp Jr., 79, of Marengo, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with Pastor Andrew Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
Louis is survived by his wife, Margaret "Marge"; three children, Edward Knapp (Kathy), Marengo, Mary Knapp (Randy), Sumner, and David (Heidi) Knapp, Marengo; and four grandchildren, Larry Baugh, Conner Knapp, Caden Knapp and Nichloas Lacher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas, in July 1980; two sisters, Mary Becker and Betty Herman; and a brother, Raymond.
