Elaine E. Reynolds, 82, of Solon, died Saturday, Sept.
29, 2018, at the Solon Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at the Gay &
Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, with burial to follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Solon. Visitation will be from 4 to

Elaine Evelyn Vanourney Reynolds was born Aug. 6, 1936, to Leo and Ethel (Schropp) Vanourney. She was joined in marriage to Eugene Arthur Reynolds on Aug. 26, 1952. Elaine retired from Wayne Feeds in 1990. She enjoyed birdwatching (especially cardinals), gardening, embroidering, crochet work and volunteering. By her side was her little dog, Gidget.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene; sister, Irene; brothers, Carlisle, Robert and Leo; and her daughter, Kathy.
She is survived by her brother, Dean; her children, Bonnie Griffin (William), Debra Thomson (Pat Fowler), Tim (Gail) and Chris (Shawn); 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
