I think all the time when God took you from me. April 5, 2023, but he never took the love I had for you and the memories from my heart. There were some that said we’d never make it, but all that did was make our bond stronger. I remember when we got up early and laid on the couch so we could watch the sunrise and talk. Also the good times when we stayed up on the Mississippi River and fished, sometimes 10 hours a day. All the good times at home. Also the good times going all over the state and playing in horseshoe tournaments. The special day at the state fair when you got first place in the Ladies’ Class A Championship, you were so happy. The good times when we went gambling.

When I think of you, all I can say is there are some who bring a light so great into the world that even after they have gone, the light remains.
