Ronald D. Rohrig, 87, of Oelwein, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, in Red Oak. Funeral service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour before the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ron's son, Ricky Rohrig, P.O. Box 93, Red Oak, IA 51566.

Ron taught refrigeration at Kirkwood Community College from 1984 until he retired in 1999.
