Several sites are letting adults get in on the Easter fun, indoors and out. Kids are welcome, too, for most of them.
Hop to Noelridge for Easter Showcase
CEDAR RAPIDS — Visitors will find a basketful of goodies hiding in plain sight during the annual Easter Showcase at Noelridge Greenhouse, 4900 Council St. NE. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31. Admission is free, and the first 500 children, ages 12 and under, will receive a free plant.
Visitors will see fairy gardens for sale and display by Friends of Noelridge; a display by Master Gardeners; orchid information and sales by Eastern Iowa Orchid Society; Hosta information from the Harshbarger Hosta Society; nature products for sale by Natural Whimsy; new vendors with products such as jewelry and more; and other sale items, including house plants, native and perennial plants, birdhouses and pressed flower greeting cards.
