Report: Iowa senior guard Tony Perkins enters NCAA transfer portal for fifth college season
Perkins scored 1,175 career points and started 81 games as a Hawkeye, led team in assists and steals this season

Four-year Iowa men’s basketball player Tony Perkins has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
As first reported by college basketball reporter Jeff Goodman on social media, Perkins apparently will seek a new school for his COVID-19 waiver season.
The 6-foot-4 guard from Indianapolis averaged 14 points and 4.6 assists this season for the Hawkeyes. He scored 1,175 points for the program and started 81 games. He led the team in assists (158) and steals (54) this season.
Perkins had five consecutive games of 20-plus points during the Big Ten season.
