Brynn L. Jacobi, 32, of Iowa City, Iowa, passed away suddenly Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at her parents' home in Belle Plaine, Iowa.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine, with Pastor Don Drahos officiating.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.hrabakfuneralhome.com.
Brynn Louise was born Aug. 27, 1986, in Cedar Rapids to Jeff and Roberta (Cornelis) Jacobi. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School, Class of 2005. She then furthered her education by graduating from the culinary arts program at Kirkwood Community College. Following college, she worked at Jimmy Jack's Rib Shack in Iowa City along with working for the Mayor's Youth Empowerment Program and, most recently, she began working with Caring Hands and More.
Brynn enjoyed working out. She could be found working out and boxing with friends at the ICOR gym in Iowa City. She loved spending time with her cat, Pepper, and friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews who adored her.
She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Roberta Jacobi of Belle Plaine; brother, Tad (Lauren) Jacobi of Belle Plaine; grandmother, Marion Cornelis of Belle Plaine; aunts and uncles, Donna and Mike Van Hamme, Dean Cornelis and Judy Uchytil, Luanna and Ted Walton, Jerry Jacobi and Jim and Cindy Jacobi; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Brynn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louie and Lorena Jacobi and Maurice Cornelis; and loving cousin, Blake Jacobi.
