Daniel Robert Tisl, 41, of West Branch, formerly of Coggon, died Sunday, March 17, 2024. Family and friends will gather at Pizza Ranch in Marion, IA on 3-23-2024 at 1:30 p.m. to celebrate Dan's life.
He is survived by his brother, David; sisters, Deanna, LaVon, and Nichol; parents, Danny Tisl (Theresa) and Shirley Skaar; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, H.J. Skaar.
Dan had a love of horses, fast cars, and big trucks. But his biggest love was his family. He will always be an inspiration to his family with how he overcame every obstacle thrown at him no matter how big it was. He continually defied the odds.
