Emily was born on June 10, 1933, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Harlan and Emily (Ronek) Butters. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years, Burnell; two brothers, Stanley and Rudolph Butters; sisters, Dorothy First, Maxine Moore, Bernice Moore, and Geraldine Lanning; half-brother, Ross Butters; and half-sisters, Grace Wolfe and Edna Pierce.
Special thanks to Summit Pointe for their wonderful care and support during her stay there and to the St. Croix Hospice for their heartfelt words and guidance in her final days.
