Rose E. Gates, 87, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Private family services will be held. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids assisted the family.
Rose was born February 28, 1937, in Minnesota. She worked for Kellermeyer Bergensons Services for over 40 years. Rose was married to David Gates.
Survivors include her daughter, Tina Lanuza of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and “aunt,” Sandy Peters of Central City, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Christina Williams; husband, David Gates; children, Steven Robison, Mike Robison, Doug Robison, and Joe Perry; granddaughter, Lindsey Lanuza; and her three brothers.
