Casey James Drew, 54, of Cedar Rapids, IA, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 11, 2024. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to their son Cooper's memorial fund at GreenState Credit Union.
Casey was born on August 11, 1969, Casey was a devoted husband, father, and respected finance professional. He dedicated 26 years to the City of Cedar Rapids, culminating in his recent role as Vice President, Chief Financial/Operations Officer at Kirkwood Community College. Casey married Andrea Cooper in 2021, and they welcomed their son, Cooper James Drew on November 20, 2023. He is survived by his wife Andrea, son Cooper, mother Sarah, siblings, and extended family.
