PATSY CAROL (KIBBEE) PICKNELL

Patsy Carol (Kibbee) Picknell, 77, of Butler, Mo., formerly of Brooklyn, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Services will be at a later date. Memorials may be contributed in Patsy's name to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Patsy is survived by her children, Donnetta Kay Kerr (Francis Jr.), Carol L. Wheeler, Sylvia L. (John) Reynolds, Molly (Thomas) Harris and Edna Wheeler; 12 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Forest; a sister, Birdie Coburn; brothers, Earl and Harold Kibbee; and a son-in-law, Walter Tim.
Patsy Carol Kibbee was born Nov. 20, 1940, in Brooklyn, the daughter of Edmund Robert and Gladys Veva Thomas Kibbee. She married Forest Otto Picknell in Brooklyn on Dec. 24, 1987. As a young girl, Patsy helped her mother clean offices and homes around Brooklyn. Throughout her life she waitressed at various restaurants and a few factories. She was a punch press operator at Milbank Manufacturing. Patsy was a full-time over-the-road truck driver with her husband Forest in 1985, and continued until his death in 2007, at which time she became fully retired. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and bird watching.
