Holly Decker, 63, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Holly was born July 27, 1955, in Cedar Rapids to Earl and Mary (Carroll) Decker. She graduated from Washington High School and later made her career in environmental services at St. Luke's Hospital.
She enjoyed Bingo, shopping, the ocean and vacations with her family.
Holly is survived by her daughter, Terra Tusing (fiance Joel Hendrix); grandchildren, Ethan Ullrick and Mardelle Hendrix; mother, Mary Decker; and brothers, Earl (Linda), Dennis and Errol Decker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Decker; and grandmother, Cecelia Carroll.
Memorials in Holly's name may be directed to the family.
Special thank-you, in Holly's words, to Ruth, for playing cards and good food, a lot of it; Joyce, for always thinking about me and my Bingo; Linda Von Ahsen, for all of your help and finding me a good attorney; Sheila, my cousin and Bingo partner.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to hospice for the wonderful care given to Holly and always being there for the family, especially Keri Ganoe, Jamie Randall, Tiffany Wiebold, Wayne Pakulis and Paul Rathke.
