KRISTINE PFLUGHAUPT Marion Kristine Pflughaupt, 55, of Marion, Iowa, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at her home in Marion. A parish vigil service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. A Celebration of Kristine's Life will follow from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday. Kristine was born Sept. 17, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Ambrose and Audrey (Smock) Loecke. She graduated from North Linn High School. Kristine was a manager for Pizza Hut, mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office and currently served at many BP locations. She was a great cook, gardener and quilter. Kristine loved being outside. She is survived by her parents, Ambrose and Audrey Loecke; children, Kelly (Justin) Mottet and Chad Pflughaupt; grandchildren, Connor Pflughaupt, Ella Mottet and Brody Mottet; sister, Kim (Larry) Coleman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
