Shirley J. Meyers, 88, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
She was born to Rachel and Cleatus Huff on February 22, 1936. She later married William Meyers on May 20, 1969.
Survivors include five daughters, Debra Jensen, Karen Gladwin, Barbara Meyers, Lori Meyers (Roy), all of Cedar Rapids, as well as Wendy Elsbury (Duane) of Elberon, Iowa.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William Meyers; as well as her two sons, Gary Arnold and William “Willie” Meyers.
Shirley worked at Farmstead for 30+ years before retiring.
Shirley has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren whom she loved very much. She will be missed by many.
The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date. A memorial fund has been established and the proceeds will be directed to the family.
