Mary Lou "Sue" Pauba, 74, of Toddville, went home to our Lord on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, after a long battle with health struggles. Services: private at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Kim (Bob) Miller of Cedar Rapids, Kelly (Dave) Thole of Hiawatha and George (Dawn) Pauba of Solon; five grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy (Lynn) Kalina of Davis, Ill.
Sue was born Feb. 11, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Eli and Leona (Burrows) Nemer. She married James Pauba on March 19, 1965, in Iowa City, Iowa. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. She had many professions throughout her life, including her own pet grooming business. Sue loved horses and dogs, and had several canine children throughout the years. Sue also enjoyed sewing and crafting and had been a member of the Rockwell Craft Club. Her favorite pastimes were camping, riding her motorcycle and spending time on the computer.
