It has been a relatively easy road so far; Iowa blasted Penn State, 95-62, in the quarterfinal round Friday, then rolled past Michigan, 95-68, in Saturday’s semifinal.
The 5-seed, Nebraska is in the final for the first time since it won the 2014.
The Huskers have notched wins here this week over Purdue (64-56), Michigan State (73-61) and Maryland (78-68).
Sunday’s game represents the rubber match between the teams. Iowa rolled to a 92-73 victory at Iowa City on Jan. 27. Fifteen days later, the Huskers rallied from a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit to win at Lincoln, 82-79.
